Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on Thursday recounted the moment when US President Donald Trump authorized and announced US strikes on Iranian nuclear-linked sites and said that this is the time when the world listens “FAFO.“Speaking at an event, Hegseth said, “That moment we realized that our bombers were out of Iran and the bombs had hit the target and the world didn’t know.”

“It was a fun moment when Donald Trump turned to his assistant and said, go get me my phone. See. Ready? Boop. The world, listen, FAFO,” he added. The United States in June carried out airstrikes on three of Iran’s most critical nuclear sites, Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, marking the first direct American intervention in Israel’s ongoing conflict with Tehran. The strike on Fordow, a heavily fortified underground facility, reportedly involved the use of six 30,000-pound “bunker buster” bombs, weapons only deployable by the US Air Force’s B-2 stealth bombers.“President Donald J.
