Madhya Pradesh: Sudden brake injures Jyotiraditya Scindia’s son; greeting people from sunroof

SHIVPURI: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia’s son, Mahanaryaman Scindia, sustained a chest injury after the driver of his car applied sudden brakes in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district, an official said.The incident occurred on Monday when Mahanaryaman was standing through the car’s sunroof and waving to people, according to news agency PTI.“As he was experiencing pain, he was rushed to the Shivpuri district hospital for examination and was discharged after 40 minutess,” district medical and health officer Sanjay Risheshwar said.Risheshwar said Mahanaryaman suffered a muscular injury, was administered medication and advised to wear a belt. He added that a second health check-up would be conducted on Tuesday morning.Mahanaryaman, who is also the president of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association, initially felt no discomfort after the incident but later developed chest pain and was taken to the Shivpuri District Hospital, the official said.At the hospital, doctors conducted necessary tests, including an ECG and an X-ray, and kept him under observation for about 40 minutes before discharging him after his condition was found to be stable.Mahanaryaman had arrived in the district to attend a youth conference in the Kolaras assembly constituency. During the visit, he also went to watch a cricket tournament at a college ground. He was greeting supporters while standing through the car’s sunroof when the incident took place.
