A few hours ago, the man named Aaron P. Brown filed a motion in court in order to dismiss the strong charges against him as his legal team cited a violation of free speech.As per Blair Kerkhoff of The Kansas City Star, the court documents filed by Aaron P. Brown read as, “Aaron P. Brown of Winchester, Illinois, said through his attorney in the motion to dismiss that he didn’t make “real threats” and that charges violated his free speech and due process of the law.”

For the unversed, back in August 2024, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were all set to attend the Morgan Waller concert at Arrowhead Stadium.Detectives who were monitoring any online threats made about the concert found Aaron P. Brown’s controversial post on X where he made a threat against Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.The post was made by an account, “Gooey Bag,” and read as, “Mr. Wallen at Arrowhead with the wife. If he brings out Mahomes or Kelce I’ll take the (freakin) shot. (Expletive) em. Also (expletive) you (expletive) @taylorswift13” This led to the Kansas City authorities contacting X for more details about the account and make an arrest accordingly after they confirmed the accused’s identity.However, over the last few months, the accused Aaron P. Brown has made several claims about how it was a “stupid, stupid mistake”.Aaron P. Brown’s girlfriend has also spoken about how he made the post while they were on their way to Kansas City from Lake of the Ozarks.Despite the controversial circumstances, both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have stayed distant from the drama and have not issued any statements about it.
