J&K: CRPF jawan found dead in Kathua, probe launched

JAMMU: A 26-year-old Central Reserve Police Force trooper was found dead in Hiranagar in J&K’s Kathua district on Tuesday. Authorities launched a probe into the cause and circumstances of the mysterious death.The deceased jawan was identified as Prabhu Nath from Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur district. He was posted at Londi Morh Group Centre in Hiranagar. Officials said Nath was rushed to Ghagwal PHC where doctors declared him dead.The body was shifted to Kathua GMCH for post-mortem and other formalities.
