‘India never allows any breach in citizens’ security’: Yogi Adityanath addresses diaspora in Tokyo; seeks investment

NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath reached Tokyo on Wednesday as part of a visit focused on attracting investment and strengthening industrial cooperation.At an interaction with the Indian diaspora, Adityanath said India never allows any breach of the interests or security of its citizens and always stands with them. He said development should contribute to the country’s progress and the welfare of people, with a spirit of friendship and compassion towards the world.

“India never allows any breach in the interests or security of its citizens. It always stands with them, and we should also have the same feeling. Our development will be for the progress of the country, for their prosperity, and our prosperity will be for the welfare of the people, with a spirit of friendship and compassion for humanity across the world,” he saidThis is Adityanath’s first visit to Japan. Officials said the trip is part of a two-nation tour aimed at deepening strategic and economic ties.Soon after landing, the chief minister met senior executives of some businesses. Discussions were held on expanding the company’s presence in Uttar Pradesh, especially in logistics parks, warehousing and multimodal transport infrastructure.He invited the companies to explore opportunities in medical devices manufacturing. Officials said the chief minister will deliver a keynote address outlining Uttar Pradesh’s industrial policy, infrastructure push and its goal of becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy.
