All districts of Delhi were under an orange, Uttar Pradesh’s Noida and Ghaziabad were also under an orange alert while Haryana’s Gurugram and Faridabad were placed under a yellow warning. Triggered by a Western Disturbance, rainfall began on Monday afternoon and continued intermittently into the early hours of Tuesday. At around 2:30 AM, Delhi recorded a temperature of 21.8°C, with humidity soaring to 98%, contributing to a still and misty atmosphere. The IMD stated that the minimum temperature is expected to remain close to normal, while the maximum could be 1–2°C above average for this time of year. Visuals from Indira Gandhi International Airport showed light rain, and several parts of Delhi-NCR—Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Faridabad—also reported similar weather conditions. While Noida and Ghaziabad were placed under an orange alert, Gurugram and Faridabad were under a yellow warning, as per IMD’s nowcast at 4:30 AM Tuesday.Winds, forecast & temperature trends

  • Tuesday: North-northeast surface winds at up to 15 kmph in the morning; easterly winds below 10 kmph expected in the afternoon, tapering to 8 kmph or less from the southeast by night.
