UBT's Aditya Thackeray claims MMRDA's drone 'peeped into his house'

MUMBAI: UBT’s Aditya Thackeray raised an objection over a drone “peeping into his home” at Bandra East on Sunday morning. Police clarified that the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) was conducting a survey using the drone in Kherwadi area for the proposed pod taxi service. Thackeray questioned why residents hadn’t been informed of this.Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Thackeray asked “which survey allowed someone to peep inside homes and fly out quickly when spotted.” He also questioned whether MMRDA was surveilling his house alone. “MMRDA should rather get on the ground and focus on the shan of its work like the MTHL (Atal Setu) which is an example of its corruption,” Thackeray alleged in his tweet on X.He also questioned that if the police had given permission for the survey , then why werent residents informed of it.
