Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA finally broke the silence about Candace Owens’ flood of allegations against organization members over Kirk’s assassination. For the past two months, right-wing podcaster Candace had moved from one conspiracy theory to another, pinning the blame on Kirk’s assassination on the organization members. In a message Wednesday, Turning Point USA said they are inviting Candace for a livestream where the organization would debunk all her false claims. Kirk’s organization said they maintained their silence because Candace calls herself a friend of Charlie Kirk but now they won’t remain silent anymore, as that’s not what Charlie would have done. Candace suggested that Kirk’s assassination was an ‘inside job’ and that Charlie Kirk’s Utah Valley University event, where he was killed, seemed unusual. Candace suggested that there was an intentional delay in providing Kirk with first aid. Candace also suggested that many people in Turning Point USA knew they Charlie would be murdered. Candace said Charlie Kirk was ‘betrayed’ by everyone, alleging financial irregularities in Turning Point USA and also suggested Israeli, French roles in the murder. All that Candace claimed are lies and innuendoes thrown with zero regard to the facts, Turning Point USA said, adding that they could not grieve properly after Charlie’s heinous murder as they were being harassed, triggered by Candace’s allegations. “For a long time, our approach was to say nothing. We did that for several reasons. First, we thought her prevarications were so absurd that nobody would believe them. Second, Charlie followed a rule of thumb to not feed the troll and instead focus on the mission. Lastly, we did not respond as Charlie always viewed Candace as a friend and we were holding our hope that she would return that friendship,” Turning Point USA’s Blake Neff said. The organization said they would hold a livestream in Phoenix where Candace would be invited if she is free and Turning Point USA will put forth its facts against Candace’s lies. The organization said as their silence had nothing to do with complacency, they are not breaking their silence because of any obligation to Candace, but only because of Charlie as Charlie was not a coward and he would not have allowed such slander.
