“I wasn’t convicted of a crime”: Tectone breaks silence after s*xual assault court case details surface online
Streamer Tectone addressed viral claims about a sexual assault-related court case, denying any criminal conviction or jail risk and stating the matter was a civil hearing. Fellow streamer Mizkif disputed his account, alleging serious findings, restraining orders, and NDAs involving Tectone’s ex-partners. Tectone has not responded to Mizkif’s latest statements, leaving the controversy unresolved.

This week, Tectone’s name was all over social media as a very private legal fight became public. What started as talk on the internet quickly turned into a big fight when fellow streamer Mizkif said that Tectone had lost a court case about sexual assault involving his ex-girlfriend. The claims caused a lot of controversy, which made the creator of Twitch and Kick have to deal with the issue directly and publicly. As speculation grew, Tectone moved to clarify what he described as widespread misinformation. His response did not attempt to downplay the seriousness of the discussion. Instead, he focused on drawing a sharp distinction between criminal guilt and the civil process that, according to him, fueled the current controversy.

Tectone speaks out after Mizkif claims serious findings in court dispute

On January 28, Tectone issued a blunt statement on X, pushing back against the narrative forming online. “Guys real quick let me correct some st I see being said about me: – I wasnt convicted of a crime – I wasnt involved in a criminal proceeding – No im not going to fking jail or facing any criminal punishment Guys this was a civil hearing with a SIGNIFICANTLY lower standard of proof than a criminal proceeding. Give me a bit I gotta finish a couple more things up and we’ll talk after, appreciate yall.”The situation intensified when Mizkif responded, rejecting Tectone’s framing of events and accusing him of minimizing serious findings. He claimed the streamer “admitted to most of the things he’s accused of” and argued that the civil ruling carried severe consequences, including long-term restraining and protective orders. Mizkif also alleged that Tectone’s former wife was prevented from speaking publicly due to an NDA, adding further weight to the claims. In his post, Mizkif wrote, “You dont just get a restraining order, you dont just get a protective order, especially one for 10 years in texas where cannot hold a gun or firearm in procession.” He went on to state that multiple women had privately thanked him for speaking out, urging the public not to dismiss the allegations as internet drama.Tectone has not yet responded to Mizkif’s most recent comments. Without a follow-up, the situation is still unresolved, with supporters and critics at a tense standstill. What is clear is that this argument has gone beyond streamer fights and into a serious discussion about responsibility, the law, and how public figures deal with accusations in the digital age.
