A Manchester court jailed Jennifer O’Brien, 34, for 17 years after finding that she s*xually abused a woman at least 10 times and committed other serious offences. The judge said the crimes caused deep and lasting harm to the victim. This was repeated offending.”In a statement read to the court, the victim described the long-term impact of the abuse. She said, “I don’t sleep for very long, and I’m up at all hours of the night. If I am in a group of more than five people I suffer from anxiety. The impact has been long term and deeply damaging.
