Candace Owens is again speaking about Erika Kirk and her late husband, Charlie Kirk. This time, she reacted to a claim online that Erika may have removed their wedding photo from a bookshelf. While responding to a post on X, Owens also repeated another serious claim, that Charlie Kirk had taken off his wedding ring the night before he was shot and killed. Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, died on September 10, 2025, after he was shot during an event at Utah Valley University. Since his death, Candace Owens has shared many doubts about what happened that day and about Charlie’s marriage.The latest discussion began when social media users compared two videos. In an older video of Charlie Kirk, a framed wedding photo of him and Erika Kirk could be seen on a shelf behind him. But in a newer video featuring Erika Kirk sitting in front of the same shelf, the wedding photo was not visible. Candace Owens replied to the post and wrote, “It’s entirely possible Charlie removed it when he removed his wedding ring the night before. When they had a priest come pray over them and their marriage…”

Several users on X also pointed out the missing photo. One person wrote, “People noticed that Erika Kirk has removed the wedding photo with Charlie Kirk from his bookshelf.” Another added, “Removing the wedding photo says a lot without saying anything.”Candace Owens had already raised questions earlier. In a recent video titled “An Open Letter to Erika Kirk,” she spoke directly about the couple’s marriage. She referred to an interview Erika gave to Jesse Watters, where Erika said she wanted Charlie to rest before his event and let him sleep in their daughter’s room.Candace Owens responded by saying, “I also want you to know that it struck me as odd when you said in that interview with Jesse Waters that you wanted Charlie to have a good night’s sleep, he was so excited, so you sent him to sleep in his daughter’s room. You know, just registered to me as a little bit backwards.”She continued, “If I wanted my husband to have a good night’s sleep because of something he had the next day, I’d probably let him sleep in the room and I would sleep in my daughter’s room. Flagged that.”Candace Owens also spoke about the wedding ring detail. She said, “I also thought what was interesting is that you said that the next morning when he snuck in, he grabbed his wedding band. Again, minor detail, but I asked myself, why was his wedding band off?”According to The Independent, Candace Owens has claimed Charlie Kirk may have been targeted because of his views on Israel. CNN reported that she has also suggested he may have been “betrayed” by people close to him. Despite a 4.5-hour conversation between Candace Owens and Erika Kirk in December, CNN noted that Candace Owens has continued to question the events around Charlie Kirk’s death. But, the investigation into Charlie Kirk’s death remains ongoing.
