NOIDA: A man has been taken into custody after a speeding Thar allegedly rammed into a motorcycle and dragged it for several kilometres in the Thana Badalpur area of Greater Noida. The incident took place on Thursday when the driver of the SUV allegedly attempted to flee a petrol pump without paying for fuel. According to police, a salesman at the pump chased the vehicle on his motorcycle. During the pursuit, the Thar driver allegedly hit the motorcycle, causing it to fall and injuring the rider. The injured salesman, identified as Kuldeep Sharma, has been admitted to hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition. Police said the accused, identified as Harsh, son of Manoj, has been taken into custody. His Thar vehicle has been seized and further legal action is underway. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
