'I don't feel safe': Old video of influencer Nancy Grewal who was stabbed to death in Canada goes viral

The old video of Nancy Grewal saying she was not feeling safe in her house in LaSalle, Canada anymore after a particular incident that took place in November 2025 is going viral after the Indian-origin influencer was stabbed to death. Her mother in India said Grewal was stabbed 18 times and everyone knowswho killed her but nobody was speaking out of fear.Grewal was a vocal critic of the Khalistanis and she said she faced attack because of her opposition to Khalistanis. Grewal, who has also worked as a personal support worker, said n one of her only English-language posts that a man had recently poured gasoline on her front door and set it on fire. This incident took place in November. In her video, she said she was making the video in English only to reach the White Canadians. “I believe God saved me. God saved my life. Nothing happened to me. Nothing happened to my house. Everything is going good. I just called the cops. I know who this person is. This person belongs to Khalistan,” Grewal said in the video. “I feel scared. He tried to give me a warning. ‘Shut your mouth. Don’t raise your voice about this topic.’” Grewal said Khalistanis keep illegal weapons with them, do drugs, and break Indian rules, and hence the Indian government put Khalistanis behind bars. Grewal said he knew the man, as he was infamous for such notorious activities in the area. She said she complained to the police and the man was not new to the law enforcement. Neither the Windsor Police nor the LaSalle Police confirmed whether they had any previous interactions with Grewal.

Not a random act of violence, targeted murder

The LaSelle police said Grewal’s stabbing was not a random act of violence and it was being investigated as an intentional act against her. LaSalle police and paramedics responded to a report of a stabbing shortly before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of Todd Lane. They found Grewal suffering from stab wounds and rushed her to hospital, where she “succumbed to her injuries.”The India Canada Association Windsor and Essex County told Windsor Star the association was not on a position to make any comment.
