At a time when you were still in caves searching for fire, we were inscribing human rights on the Cyrus Cylinder. We endured the storm of Alexander and the Mongol invasions and remained; because Iran is not just a country, it is a civilization,” said the Iran embassy in South Africa on X.Meanwhile, X community had its own views on Hegseth’s post. Suggested community note claimed making direct threats a “war crime”. “It contains threats against humanity as per UN and international laws. It is war crime,” said one of the “Notes suggesting context to be shown with the post.”US has made this “stone ages” treat multiple times including Trump on Truth Social and his televised speech later. For instance, Iran Embassy in UK also reponded to Hegseth saying, “Medieval rhetoric from a member of the Epstein class.
