US first lady Melania Trump on Thursday issued a rare public statement, pushing back against what she called “lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>,” as the New York post reported.Meanwhile, her husband, US President Donald Trump, has also been linked to Jeffrey Epstein and his private island, which was frequented by several high-profile figures across industries.\u201cI am not Epstein\u2019s victim,\u201d the first lady told reporters, firmly rejecting claims circulating online. \u201cEpstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump.\u201dShe said fake images and fabricated stories had been spreading, falsely suggesting a connection.\u201cI have never had any knowledge of Epstein\u2019s abuse of his victims, I was never involved in any capacity,\u201d Melania Trump said, adding that she was never on Epstein\u2019s plane and had never visited his private island.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
