Pillion rider Jeevan told police Anand, who worked in a Manyata Tech Park company, lost balance and rammed a ring main unit (RMU) box installed by Bescom on the roadside. Both men were injured but Anand fell unconscious with severe head injuries. Anand was shifted to an ambulance. “However, the upper portion of the ambulance got stuck under the magic box in Judicial Layout. After trying to move the vehicle for around 10 minutes, Jeevan flagged down a car which was passing by and took Anand to Yelahanka govt hospital.
