Last week, Ann Coulter stirred up another row when she attacked Indian-origin Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal. Coulter said “We really have to look into the problem of Indians’ low self-esteem.”This sly comment came after Jayapal was defending undocumented immigrants, saying it is not a crime to be one and live in America.In a video message on X, Jayapal said: “And despite the endless stream of xenophobic and racist rhetoric from Trump and Republicans, the vast majority of immigrants \u2014 both documented and undocumented \u2014 contribute to America in more ways than we could imagine.”Recently, the Trump administration, mostly under the influence of the MAGA base, has been cracking down on people from third-world countries. This was the result of the aftermath of a brutal shooting near White House a few days ago, in which an Afghan National was involved.
