She must be beheaded with a kharga (scimitar),\u201d BJP leader Sanjay Das is heard saying in a video. Sanjay Das is the vice-president of the BJP\u2019s Mathurapur unit in Bengal\u2019s South 24 Parganas district.Das made the remarks while addressing party\u2019s \u2018Poribortan Sabha\u2019, during which former state BJP chief Dilip Ghosh was also present.BJP leaders, including Das, were also seen handing over a sword to Ghosh in the video.TMC said that BJP leaders feel licensed to descend into outright criminality after Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has \u201cnormalised misogyny by catcalling an elected chief minister\u201d.TMC raked up PM Modi’s old remarks and said, “\u201cWhen the Prime Minister of the country himself normalises misogyny by catcalling an elected Chief Minister with \u2018Didi, O Didi,\u2019 it\u2019s no surprise that other BJP leaders feel licensed to descend into outright criminality.”\u201cAt BJP\u2019s \u2018Poriborton Sabha,\u2019 their vice-president of Mathurapur OD, Sanjay Das, handed a kharga (sword) to Dilip Ghosh, branded our Hon\u2019ble Chairperson a \u2018witch\u2019, and openly called for her beheading.
