'Will undress on your counter’: Frustrated passenger threatens to remove clothes at Delhi airport amid IndiGo cancellations

NEW DELHI: A frustrated passenger was caught on video threatening to undress at the Delhi airport ticket counter on Friday, as IndiGo continued to struggle with widespread operational disruptions.In the video, the man can be seen removing his shirt and repeatedly telling officials, “I will undress myself, I will undress myself,” in apparent anger at the airline staff.

The incident occurred on a day when IndiGo cancelled all its departing domestic flights from Delhi airport until midnight, leaving thousands of passengers stranded. Delhi airport operator DIAL said operations of all other carriers continued as scheduled. “IndiGo domestic flights departing from Delhi Airport on 5th December 2025 are cancelled till midnight today (till 23:59 hours),” DIAL said in a post on X.The airport operator added that its dedicated on-ground teams were working with all partners to mitigate the disruption and ensure passengers’ comfort.The incident highlights growing frustration among travellers as IndiGo grapples with crew shortages and other operational challenges, which have caused delays and cancellations across the country this week.
