The 55th Kerala State Film Awards 2025 winners have been announced. Mammootty clinched the Best Actor award for ‘Bramayugam’. Soubin Shahir received the Best Character Artist award for ‘Manjummel Boys’. ‘Manjummel Boys’ was also declared the Best Film. Shamla Hamza won Best Actress. The awards celebrate artistic excellence in Malayalam cinema.

The winners of the 55th Kerala State Film Awards 2025 were announced at a press conference held in Thrissur, chaired by Fisheries, Culture, and Youth Welfare Minister Saji Cherian. A total of 128 films were submitted for this year’s prize. Of these, 26 were shortlisted for the final round, from which the best were selected. The selection committee was led by a seven-member jury panel headed by veteran actor Prakash Raj.The much-awaited 55th Kerala State Film Awards were held successfully at Ramanayake. According to official information, the selection committee screened four to five films daily, and extensive discussions were held after each screening, selecting the best works and artists. These awards honor the artistic excellence and creativity of the Kerala film industry and have showcased many talents.
